  • Our nightly rates are as follows:

    Base price $800/night for up to 6 guests

    Cleaning Fee $280 per stay

    For additional guests beyond 6, we charge $100 per person, per night. There is a maximum of 11 guests and a minimum 2 night stay.

    Prices are subject to change and do not apply to Public Holidays. Please enquire for public holiday pricing and minimum nights.

    We also run promotions from time to time, so keep an eye out!

  • Our cheapest rates are available on our direct booking website. Click on the “Book Now” tab.

  • Check in and check out are contactless. You will be emailed instructions and codes to keylock boxes the evening prior to your stay. Please feel free to contact us on 1300 428 916 should you have any issues accessing the property.

  • Check in is from 2pm and check out is by 11am. Please contact us directly if you require an earlier check in or a later check out. This will depend on availability and additional charges may apply.

  • No, unfortunately we do not allow pets on the property. We do however, have an excellent local pet sitter, Barking with Bianca, who we refer all of our Guests with pets to. https://www.barkingwithbianca.com/

  • Yes, we have free WiFi available for our Guests to use during their stay. The password is displayed in the house. We use Starlink Internet for a reliable and fast connection.

  • Yes, our property is child friendly. Our holiday home is full of activities for the whole family. We also have high chairs, a cot, baby monitor, bed rails, a toy room dedicated to the kids, the list goes on.

    We ask that children, of course, are supervised at all times. This is a rural property so we ask Guests to be mindful of possible dangers such as our unfenced dam and creek, barbed wire fencing, wild animals and farm structures etc.

  • No, unfortunately we only allow the registered Guests on site. We are strictly a no wedding and no party venue. We are purely an accommodation venue. Registered Guests attending events off site are absolutely welcome to stay, however events can not take place on site.

  • We do not allow visitors without our prior approval. Please contact us prior to your stay should you wish to have any visitors enter the property.

  • Yes, absolutely. Please let us know if you would like any recommendations.

  • Yes, in Kurrajong Village there is a small Supermarket (Friendly Grocer), a pharmacy (Kurrajong Compounding Pharmacy) and a butcher (Kurrajong Butchery), all just 8 minutes drive away.

    A little further in North Richmond there is a Coles Supermarket and an ALDI. Wilberforce has a fabulous butcher called Munro’s Quality Meats and Freemans Reach has a Fruit & Vegetable store called Sciberras Fresh, which we both highly recommend to our Guests.

  • When you book with us, you have the exclusive use of the entire property. There will be no other Guests other than yourselves.

  • Yes, please contact us directly on enquiries@didosplace.com.au. There are a number of local tracks for different abilities. We also have maps available in the house during your stay.

  • We sleep up to 11 Guests. Please refer to the floor plan on our website for sleeping configurations. We will be in touch prior to your stay to chat about your sleeping configuration preferences.

  • We certainly do.

  • Yes, you certainly can. Please notify us beforehand that there will be a visiting photographer. Please make arragements with your Photographer directly. We recommend local Photographer, Janelle Keys https://janellekeysphotography.com.au/

  • We highly recommend that you travel by car. There are 2 local transfer services that we recommend that can do airport, wedding venue, restaurant and cellar door transfers. They are in high demand so please book well in advance. Please email us for their details.

  • Use of the campfire will depend on the time of year, fire ratings, fire restrictions and weather at the time of your stay. We do not allow campfires during the bushfire danger period 1st October - 31st March in any year.

    A list of the rules and a campfire kit are available in the pantry. During campfire season, the campfire will be all set up ready for you to light. All firewood is provided.

  • Yes, we certainly do.

  • Yes, we have a sustainability policy on display at Dido’s Place. This outlines what we currently do and what we intend on achieving in the next 12 months. It also details ways in which our Guests can also get involved.

    We have recently received the EarthCheck certification for completing the course - Sustainability Skills Micro-credentials. We are continually researching and applying new ways in which our business can become more sustainable.

    Current practices include:

    ENVIRONMENT: through the use of solar power, recycling, reusing, repurposing, rainwater collection, composting, bee keeping, planting and sustainable product use.

    SOCIAL: engaging and supporting local businesses through purchases and promotion, supporting local charities and being actively involved in local events.

    CULTURAL: educating our Guests on the history of both First Nations and the Colonial history of the Hawkesbury.
