We have sourced the Hawkesbury’s most talented local Chefs & Cooks to offer their Catering and Private Chef Services to our guests staying at Dido’s Place. Cooking with fresh local produce from the Hawkesbury, they are able to cater for intimate dinners for two to private group dining events. From Fine Dining to Sri Lankan street food, to your all time Family Favourites, grazing boxes and fresh cold pressed juices delivered to your door, we have something to cater for everyone.

Chefs & Cooks have complete use of our fully equipped kitchen during your stay. All bookings are subject to availability and are to be arranged with the services directly.

Private Chef NJ Lim

Renowned local Professional Chef N.J. Lim offers her fine dining private chef and catering services to our guests at Dido’s Place. Chef N.J. has previously catered for numerous high society events, international corporate events and VIP private dining experiences.

Chef N.J. will create with you a bespoke menu for your event whether it be for an intimate dinner for two or for a private group meal.

Most popular for guests is the option for canapes and a sit-down 3 course menu. Other options include only canapes (3 cold, 3 hot & 2 substantial canapes) or 3 canapes, main and dessert.

Choose any dishes which tickle your taste buds off her Facebook or Instagram pages or simply choose your own dish. There’s no need to go to a fancy restaurant when you can have the fine dining experience in absolute comfort while staying at Dido’s Place.

Sri Lankan Catering by Herft Creations

What can’t Suzanne Herft do? Private Chef, Caterer, Cooking Class Instructor & Creator of Grazing Platters with a Sri Lankan twist, Suzanne will surely spice up your weekend away at Dido’s Place. Drawing upon her family’s secret recipes for traditional curry powders and spice mixes, along with her own more contemporary recipes, Suzanne’s cuisine is described as “Sri Lankan Fusion” and an absolute must try!

Suzanne doesn’t have a generic menu because she likes to talk to her customers and jointly create a menu for their occasion and for their particular tastes. Some of her very popular dishes include Sri Lankan street food favourites, Stuffed Roti and Pan Rolls as well as her Signature Dish, Slow Cooked Honey Mustard Pork.

Suzanne is available to deliver and cook on site. She also offers Sri Lankan cooking classes for guests during their stay at Dido’s Place.

Feeding Frenze Cafe Style Catering

Having ran the well known Feeding Frenze Cafe in Kurrajong Village for many years, Heather has now moved on to run her own very successful catering food delivery service in the area. Heather’s meals cover all the family favourites including Lamb Shanks, Moroccan Lamb Tagine, A la Normandy, Frittata, Shredded Beef Chilli Con Carne, Red Thai Chicken Curry, Beef Bourguignon, Lasagna, Cottage Pie, Creamy Chicken & Filo Pot Pie, Sticky Date Pudding with Caramel Sauce, Passionfruit Cheesecake and much more.

Heather is very flexible with menu options and can make anything you see on her Facebook Page. She will also deliver directly to Dido’s Place at a prearranged time.

The Deli Lana, Kurrajong

Catering for your group of Guests at Dido’s Place is made so easy with the Deli Lana’s new catering menu consisting of a variety of freshly prepared salads, family favourite tray bakes, cakes, quiches and don’t forget their amazing hamper boxes. These hamper boxes are incredible and will impress your Guests. Choose from a range of boxes including deli meats, cheeses, dips and fruit, waffles and pastries as well as a dessert chocolate box. Lovely Mel from the Deli Lana is happy to customise your hamper box. Their cakes are also perfect for your dinner celebration, perhaps for a special occasion with us.

The Deli Lana will also deliver directly to Dido’s Place during your stay for a small delivery charge or you can pick up from their store. Please place orders prior to your stay in advance and directly with Mel. If you find yourself in Kurrajong Village, be sure to pop in and say hi to Mel and grab a coffee and some delicious treats.
