The moment we arrived at Marlu Mini Farm, my heart skipped a beat. Home to the cutest Nigerian Dwarf goats in the Hawkesbury, this small local farm is run by the lovely Jacquie and her husband Adrian, whose genuine care for their animals is evident from the very first moment you walk in.

Marlu Mini Farm runs one-hour goat experiences, giving families the opportunity to slow down and truly connect with these beautiful animals. During the session, guests can:

  • Bottle feed the goats

  • Cuddle and play with them

  • Learn how to safely and gently handle baby goats

The age of the goats varies depending on the breeding season. We were incredibly lucky to spend our hour with just three-day-old baby goats! Watching the kids gently feed and cuddle them was one of those moments that your heart just melts, especially as a Mum. There were smiles, giggles and a whole lot of love. We left with very full hearts!

Jacquie guides each experience with warmth and patience, showing both adults and children how to interact with the goats safely and respectfully.
