A Creative Family Experience In Windsor NSW You’ll Never Forget
/Discover One Of The Most Unique Things To Do In The Hawkesbury With Kids
It started with a blank canvas, a table full of paint and the kids excitedly choosing colours before we’d even sat down.
Last weekend, we visited the Artfulness studio in Windsor and honestly, it ended up being one of the most memorable family experiences we’ve had in the Hawkesbury.
A Family Activity In The Hawkesbury That Everyone Can Enjoy
From the moment we arrived at Kelly’s beautiful cottage studio, everyone was engaged. The kids layered colours and textures, we experimented with different styles, and slowly our canvas started turning into something completely unique to our family.
No artistic experience was needed. No pressure. Just a really fun, creative few hours together as a family.
More Than Just A Souvenir
What I loved most is that you don’t just leave with photos on your phone. You leave with a beautiful large artwork that gets professionally finished and ready to hang in your home afterwards. It’ll be something that I’ll walk past years later and instantly remember:
“That was the weekend we stayed in the Hawkesbury.”
One Of The Best Things To Do In Windsor NSW
If you weren’t already aware, the Hawkesbury has a deep artistic history. Think of iconic Australian Impressionists such as Arthur Streeton, Charles Conder and Sydney Long, who all painted famous scenes in the area.
Guided by Kelly who is a professional artist and qualified art therapist, the whole experience was relaxed, welcoming and designed for everyone to enjoy, regardless of our ability.
It’s perfect for:
Families
Couples
Girls weekends
Hen’s celebrations
Multi-generational family groups

This is certainly one experience you’ll still be talking about long after the paint dries and a must do when visiting the Hawkesbury.
